Vďaka dvom pohľadom protagonistov a rýchlemu tempu je príbeh dynamický, plný zvratov a kniha sa ťažko odkladá; obálka so štriekancami krvi navyše skvelo dotvára desivú atmosféru. Kniha je veľmi explicitná a brutálna, pritom psychologický prvok alexitýmie u Leahy vyvoláva otázky o ospravedlniteľnosti násilia; nie je to čítanie pre citlivé povahy, ale pre fanúšikov krimi ide o výbornú voľbu.
